Kindergarten and Primary School

Established in 1991, the french school of Ljubljana is subsidized by the AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad, part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs). The curriculum is in accordance with the programmes defined by the Ministry of National Education. The school also favors bi-cultural exchanges and the study of foreign languages (english, slovene, spanish...).

Our school welcomes children from age two. It is open to families from all nationalities, french and non-french speaking.

Our school is divided into two main classes: a kindergarten section composed of a teacher, and two assistants -  and a primary school section composed of a teacher for the main subjects, an english teacher and two slovene teachers.

The kindergarten section has at its disposal two big classrooms, allowing children to split in different age groups depending on the activities and to create a rest area during nap time for the youngest ones.
